Welcome to my research hosting site. I am an economics PhD candidate at The New School for Social Research.
My empirical work on public finance and data.
The research-data platform: a hub of interactive data sites including Gerhard (US public finance, gerhard.heterodata.org), Shaikh Data (shaikh.heterodata.org — replications of Anwar Shaikh’s Capitalism and Measuring the Wealth of Nations), Lewis (international economics, lewis.heterodata.org), Leonid (Soviet statistics, leonid.heterodata.org), Leontief (US input–output, leontief.heterodata.org), and StarCruiser (US employment and inflation, starcruiser.heterodata.org), plus affiliated standalone sites: freenic.org (banking data), foodberg.org (food prices), hmdaexplore.com (mortgage lending), methodex.fyi (statistical methodology), and jjmuni.com (municipal pedestrian infrastructure). Data downloads across the ecosystem are gathered at files.heterodata.org and indexed on the hub’s data page.
A three-part institutional and intellectual history of The New School’s economics department. A 121-page draft of Part 1 is available on request.
The open-source research tooling I built for AI-assisted empirical economics, with links to the GitHub repositories.
